From time to time we will run special programs or events.
Strength Camp was a big hit and we will definitely be running it again in 2011. Check out the Images page (or Facebook) for pictures from our August session. We broke 1 sledgehammer, had 1 guy puke, and moved thousands of pounds.
Strength Camp is a 4 week program starting in August with two 45 minute workouts per week. There will be a primary focus on strength & power development, a secondary focus on strength endurance and some basic cardiovascular conditioning.
In order to give each client the attention and coaching that is needed, class will be limited to 4-6 clients per 45 minute session.
Strength Camp will involve Olympic style barbell exercises, plyometrics, sprints and bodyweight exercises (push ups, pull ups, dips and jumps). Of course, I have a few other goodies up my sleeve too.

This is not a cardio boot camp.
We will push, pull, drag and throw heavy stuff.

This boot camp session will be designed around one specific goal: running a 5K road race. Whether this is your first race or your 100th race, this boot camp is for you!
For the newbies, we will establish a baseline of strength through resistance training and conditioning through fun drills, interval training and yes, running.
For the seasoned "roadrunners", we'll perform gait analysis and offer suggestions to help improve your running economy. We'll also help you improve your conditioning through drills and interval training.
The bottom line is that if this is your first time, we will get you across the finish line. If this is your 100th race, we will get you across the finish line FASTER.
